Lovetuner Podcast - Nipun Mehta
Lovetuner CEO & Co-Founder, Sigmar Berg, invites Lovetuner advocates to share their stories and their journeys!
On today’s podcast we discuss igniting the fundamental generosity in ourselves and others, creating both inner and outer transformation, with Nipun Mehta, founder of ServiceSpace. The Dalai Lama named him “The Unsung Hero of Compassion”. Lovetuner’s own acceptance of Acts of Service as a currency is inspired by Mehta himself! Mehta’s organization has accepted acts of service (or acts of love, an interchangeable term) as currency for many of their own projects. ServiceSpace is run by volunteers.
When you think of wealth, what comes to mind? Is it money? If so, do you see luxe suits, rich food, and giant houses? Our perception of wealth is generally financial. If you aren’t wealthy with money, well, you simply aren’t considered wealthy at all. Nipun Mehta and Sigmar Berg hope to change these ideas. Wealth is a plethora of things. You can have wealth in kindness, wealth in love, wealth in compassion. When those of us with wealth in money combine it with a wealth of love, they generate even more resources, and thus, more wealth. Wealth is diverse, and removing greed from it creates more.
This is why this podcast episode hopes to drive the point that love is a regenerative resource! As Mehta points out, if you smile at someone 5 times, you don’t lose your amount of smiles. The reality is, your smile will probably cause the other person to smile, and this creates a connection. This connection can then make the other person more willing to smile at others, and could even lead to friendship between the two of you. Love simply creates more love! Lovetuner is a device that harnesses the love frequency with breath meditation. This natural stress relief targets our psyches and vibrations to connect us to each other and the world around us. This device is often used in group meditations and even at seminars and schools to better connect the groups to each other!
We often talk about acts of service but what about acts of love? They are one and the same but having that focus on spreading love is just as important too. When we start seeing kindness not only as a duty but also as something willingly done through love and compassion, we can start reframing the energy behind it. Some people are still unsure of jumping onto this wagon because for them it can feel as being too obligatory or even weak. That’s far from the truth though. The more love you give, the more you receive, the more we all benefit. Showing love, showing compassion, are all forms of strength — and a form of intelligence. Having the ability to choose love and to show love to those who need it rather than giving in and being defensive is a strength. On the other hand, our society perceives cold and brooding characters as strong and intelligent. Psychologically, there are several forms of intelligence, including emotional intelligence. Just about anyone can learn the theories of the universe but how much will it matter if your time as a being in this universe is spent removing yourself from the gifts of love and humanity? An understanding is not the same as participation. When we create and love and access our humanity, we play a role in the universe’s system and evolution. So we hope to spread that love with Lovetuner and other like-minded organizations and people!
We mentioned the Acts of Kindness program earlier. Since wealth isn’t just financial, the currency isn’t only financial either. This program accepts Acts of Kindness as a currency to purchase Lovetuner! As long as your AoK falls within our guidelines, we’ll accept it. You can check out our “Lovetuner Accepts Acts of Kindness as Currency” article, and submit your information here to the page! Just read through the guidelines, create a video with a bit of information, upload it, and send us the link for it. We’ll take it from there!
To use your Lovetuner to find your inner self and broaden your capabilities, we’ll give a little breakdown below but don’t forget to check the rest of the page out if you aren’t familiar with us already. Lovetuner is a mindfulness tool and a great connector. Part of its greatness is because it is so diverse. This one device can be used how you need, in a variety of meditation practices, any time of day, location, and with other methods. Our articles have delved into using it at specific times of day to really harness those specific energies or using it as part of daily routine, even for sleep improvement, and more. The love frequency is known as the healing frequency and creates a sense of relief and peace. The way that the Lovetuner is used works the lungs, and activates the parasympathetic system, which also helps trigger our body to calm down. You’re getting benefits from both these methods all in one little device that hangs from the neck! As you can see in the video, simply remove the Lovetuner from its cap and place the rounded side between your lips. Do a deep inhale and a slow, controlled exhale. It really is that easy! An actual tuning session is recommended to be at least 6 breath cycles, and longer if you want.
Tune in with us next time! Major thanks to Nipun Mehta for joining us. Be sure to check out the ServiceSpace, check out their upcoming events, or see if you’re a fit for one of their volunteer positions!
